1969 Lincoln error

    This is an interesting one. The coin is missing the word of and shows no signs of being worn off. Under 20x the coin looks clean no indication that it was ever there. I guess there was crud in the die when pressed.

    Grease-filled dies are pretty common.

    Randall:
    Greased dies are common and have little value. They have been around since the US mint started making coins.
    Keep looking.

    Thanks guys, I kinda new it was not worth that much, but this one was a perfect example of a die fill that just happened to be in the word of.
