While CRH and filling my Jefferson Whitman I came across a 69 that at first looked like it had a dot punched in where the mintmark should be. The more I looked it started looking like a small "O" so I grabbed the loupe and saw that it is a tiny faint "D". Is it common to find different style MM from the same year? Google yielded nothing so I'm bringing it to the community

Cool Pic by the way, These were hand punched into the die, with different strengths and positioning, Sometimes the mm has a direct correlation to the Die state.

Thanks @Pickin and Grinin not bad for an iPhone lens from Amazon, ey? And that makes sense. I can see how heavy on the right side and light on the hammer would leave the left side shy like that. Almost looks like a different font. IMG_0530.JPG Eh, I'll staple it in a 2x2 just because I have enough of them.
