I found this while searching through my pocket change. The second u in "e pluribus unum" seems to be missing. It would be the first letter to the right of the torch. Is this a die error?
I sold one with an "E" missing in "Dime" for a couple of bucks.....so to the right buyer, you may get a little bit of a premium, but not much if at all.
I have a 1969 D Roosevelt dime on the front it very plainly only says GOD TRUST instead of IN GOD WE TRUST. Also on the back the flames are different than any other error coin I have found.. Please I would really appreciate your feedback on this as to where do I turn to next when I cannot find this coin anywhere.. Thank you for your time!
First, welcome to the forum! Next, you will need to post pictures, impossible to say anything without seeing it.
First, welcome to the neighborhood, Jesse! Second, you do realize that this thread is more than 2 years old, don't you? Third, in any event, it is always best if you post your own thread with clear images of the coin. Fourth, it is probably the result of a grease-filled die which is very common and usually only worth face value. Chris
