OK I posted this one back on the 23 of June as an anomaly but after looking a little close I'm wondering if it wasn't a dropped punch. It does seem to match the dimensions of the D mint mark and have serifs on one end. Possibly to the ESE. Doesn't resemble any die chips or anything of that nature that I have seen before!
OK thanks. Any idea who might have some clue as to what it might be ? I would like to think it's a partial mint mark.
