How about a trip down memory lane? This is one of the books I used as a kid. I know its all relative and all, but sure is interesting. Also they did not have the Sheldon grading scale back then. Would like to go back in time and get that 1909S VDB in unc. condition for $220. Or that 1914D in unc. condition for $560. Anybody got an older book?

Note: sorry about the rotation, it looked right on my desktop.

The 1794 large cent in this old reprint is listed at 75 cents (not 75 dollars). Old Scotts Catalog Reprint.jpg

1948 Redbook has the Unc SVDB at $16.50 and the 14 D is $15.

That 75 cent for the 1794 cent was for a Fair, Redbook doesn't list fair. But the 1913 Scotts book does show $1.50 in Good, the 48 Redbook has it at $3.50 in Good.
