    Intro:
I am new to the forum. First post. Recently started collecting coins.
Read most of the "How to" threads.

I came across a 1968 S penny. Satin finish with a double rim of sorts on the left side. Need a better method of magnification to see any doubling. Will post better photos later this evening.

Please put eyes on this and give me an idea of rarity!

Welcome to CT :)! It is a nice cent, and slightly off-center, but not a rarity. I find a lot of very nice 1968 s cents when coin roll hunting. Only worth one cent.

I agree it's slight MAD ( misaligned die) but if you are getting started it's a nice coin to start with.IMO

It's just a Finned Rim due to a High Pressure strike on one side.. It is nothing major.

Exactly, just a wire rim due to higher than needed force to strike up. You mostly see this on proof and American Gold Buffaloes.

Welcome to coin talk. The rim on your coin tells you that it is in About Uncirculated condition or AU. Could be 5¢ to the right person. It's a keeper.
Not very Rare, not even Scarce really.
