I have a 68 proof set and the quarter and the half appear to be doubled. Anyone else see it? Here's the quarter... and the half
Honestly to me, the doubling seems to appear from the luster/glare from the coin more than an actual doubling. If it were a doubling it seems to be a flat like doubling which makes me think it is MD.
I checked them both out under a stereo microscope and I'm pretty sure at least the half is doubled. I took these pics with a digital microscope, so the quality isn't as good as I had hoped. I'm wondering if there was any master hub doubling in 1968?
