1968 s penny. Is it this an error?

    The mint mark looks repunched.

    Between 6 and 9, you can see a “S” . On top of mint mark. I can got close with my iPhone camera.

    I can see what you are talking about, but it is not a RPM, as it is a different size sqiggle of either corrosion or a rub from circulation. Whatever part of a RPM you can see , that area showing has to match exactly the original, except for depth where it might be significantly less. Jim

    i am going to have to agree with my friend jim. don't get discourage coin collecting isnt easy, have no fear though me and jim are serious professional coin collectors and are here to help
