    Hey guys!
I found this coin yesterday in circulation! The thing that caught my eye was the spectacular luster on the obverse. The obverse is relatively mark-free although, unfortunately, the reverse has a few major scratches that greatly hurts its would-be grade. I could see something was up with the mintmark with my magnifying glass so I took pictures of it so I could see the small details better (haven't invested in a strong magnifying glass yet) and I am 75% sure this is a DDO. I'm also trying to figure out if something is going on in the center of the Lincoln Memorial or if I'm just seeing things. Now, I'm no error expert and I figured this was the best place to go (aside from my dealer who thinks it is a DDO). I was going to post the pics to this forum but I can't get my upload thing to work right so here's the link to my photobucket album:

Sorry if this was a bit long-winded. lol
    Thanks (in advance),
    Tyler

    These?

Looks to be a combination of die scratches and some doubling of the pillars in the memorial.

It may be a RPM however I am seeing no DDO there sorry.

If it's an RPM it may be a 1968S-1MM-002 Look under copper coins then do a variety search.

Yeah, those are the ones. I haven't been able to upload for a couple days now. Not sure why not. And thanks! Like I said, I'm no error expert and am here to learn. I did a search on Coppercoins first thing when I found it but wasn't sure which one it fell under. I'm not worried about it but I'm guessing it carries minimal premium? Also, going back and looking again, it looks like it may have been cleaned as well.
    Thanks,
    Tyler

That's a nice coin. Someone must have spend an OLD container of change or something. The die scratches are very strong and distinct, so if it is a variety, it will be easy to identify.

So, after looking through all the varieties and comparing die markers, I have (surprisingly to me) settled on either the 1968S-1DO-004P or (as mentioned above) the 1968S-1MM-002. I don't think this coin is a proof, but it all the die marks are there. Give me your opinion please! I'd love more replies from folks.

Oh, and I found ANOTHER one today (same coin, less pmd). If I keep it up I'll have a nice little set in a few weeks.
