    Could anyone help me with what this is? Not an RPM right. Capped die? Thanks!

    It honestly just looks like a die chip. It isn't a capped die and besides how proofs are made, with multiple strikes ought to make it clear it's not a capped die, here's some reading to help you learn what a capped die is and what they look like: http://www.error-ref.com/capped-die-doubling-incuse/
