1968 penny

    20181026_224649.jpg I think I have an error coin? Does anyone know if I'm seeing it correctly? Look at the words how close they are to rim.

    Welcome to Coin Talk. Stacey,
    The coin you posted is not an error, as far as I can tell. The one cent coin in the late 50's and up to 1968 pretty much all looked like your coin.
    In 1968 the mint redesign the Lincoln Cent for the 1969 year mintage.

    I agree with @alurid on what he stated but your coin appears to have a slight MAD ( misaligned die) of course I may need new glasses.

    So it is, off to the south a bit.
    The one I posted is also a Misaligned Die Strike coin. off to the west a bit.
