1968 penny error - I think

    Hi all. This 1968 penny seems to have an error, the first “t” of trust is turned into a “y”. Any thoughts on what went wrong? Thanks for any insight. I appreciate it.

    The Mint employee switched the T with a Y...

    Just kidding. As stated, a well placed hit due to circulation. Damaged. Not a Mint Error.
