Hey all. First off I would just like to say I'm terrible with this variety stuff, lol. Anyway bored at work and decided to clean the car cupholder and cubby out to do some coin hunting. Found a few wheats and this S that I think may be an RPM? I tried to do my homework and I think it might be RPM-001. Good old standard ob&rv shot. I changed lighting somewhere in my pics so that's why the tone difference. Top is a close up of the date and MM, the lower 3 are the examples of the RPM-001 from varietyvista. I don't have my digital microscope on me at work today, which is odd because I normally bring it when I work a weekend, but anyway potato phone pics is the best I can do until this evening, lol.
You want my honest opinion? Okay, too hard to tell. Clean up the pics and you might have a shot at it.
Yeah same problem I was having, lol. My phone's macro camera just couldn't cut it for me see it clear enough. Maybe I can talk my daughter into bringing me my scope and hopefully that lunch that I left at home this morning...
The darkness on the pic of your coin makes it hard to tell if you have the upwards shift or not. This year was notorious for die chips and machine doubling, hence the filled in bottom serif.
Well just got home and took some pics under the scope and I'm not seeing RPM-001. Not sure what all I'm seeing but the MM def took a hit.
Tommy my 1st reply to this was exactly what you said...then to make sure..l looked it up...but yeah it looks like md and chips.
