This Kennedy Half Dollar is sealed in a sealed plastic wrapper Looks ok but is it considered circulated or uncirculated. Plus looks like some doubling ,what do you think?
Can't see any "doubling" in your out-of-focus pics. If it is in mint plastic (a mint set), then it is probably uncirculated. Kennedy Halves between 1965 and 1970 were made out of 40% silver, instead of the 90% of pre-64 coins. After 1970, they were made of the cupro-nickel clad of modern coinage.
I received them in sealed plastic from relatives . Vs taking them out of the plastic I attempted photos through the plastic. Doesn't work so well. So the 1965 through 1969 half dollars would be worth slightly over thier monetary value? Is there any collectors value?
I was wandering about keeping them in that sealed plastic ,now I will keep them sealed thanks to your recommendation. Regards CoinOp2
$7 to $10 for the full mint set on e-bay. Do you have a full mint set, or just a coin? Is it in plastic with other coins?
