I agree that it is just strike doubling. What I don't understand is why, so often, many people think when they have found a possible doubled die that it should be graded. The grading fees would eat up most of the value for some of these varieties. If you are going to be searching for varieties, you should have a book like the Cherrypickers Guide which would at least give you a ballpark estimate of the value. With that said, it would be impossible for anyone to determine the condition of the OP's coin without seeing good photos of the entire coin, both obverse and reverse. Chris
