    This really looks like it was spray painted...What do you guys think?

    Back in the day, they would dip them in mercury. Handle with care.

    Thanks guys.....I am not sure what it is, but sure it didn't come from the mint like that...New picture....I washed it a couple of times and I guess the soap starting taking off the paint or whatever it was that was coating that coin.
