Can anyone help me with this coin? I believe it has a TDO but I am not sure, also this Kennedy 1968-D looks different, almost like a proof coin. It is interesting because all the coins from that mint set looks like that. Thanks
I agree that clear closeups will help. And please include close-up images of the areas where you think there is Hub Trippling.
That termination of the upper loop of the 9 looks like multiple lines of separation to me. The rest of the images aren't as clear to my eyes. I'm not very adept at varieties for this series. Someone will come along to offer suggestions. Do you have any ideas which variety number it might be? Post a link if you do and more people will probably chime in.
The MM positioning does not fit any DDO's on Variety vista. Add in the flat and shelf like doubling on some of the devices it is MD, Mechanical doubling.
Please excuse my ignorance here, but I have not seen the acronym 'TDO' before. What does it stand for? Triple umm something 'D' Obverse? my mind keeps going to triple double obverse and cant get out of this thought loop.
Keep in mind there's an MDO for this year . My guess is that's what you're seeing here . I also own one of the TDO for this year .
