1967dime error

    Noticed that the liberty is half Waze print it on the 1967 ad which is a lot smaller than the other dimes in size.

    Welcome to CT. This is not a Mint error but the coin is damaged.

    damaged by something /someone after it left the mint. When coins are spooned the look like your example sometimes with the rim smashed down like that which would also explain the slightly smaller circumference.

    Not a mint error.. PMD - Post Mint Damage.
    Circulation wear and tear.

    BTW.. There is no printing when coins are made.

    It's damaged after it left the US Mint. If it happens at the amount then it's an error. If it happens afterwards then it damaged.

    Someone took a spoon and tapped the edges so it now appears like you see it.
