One of my neighbors found this quarter from her mom’s estate and asked me if it was a rear coin .
because it had no rim and it looked different.
To me the coin doesn’t look right I’m not sure if it’s original I would have to guess that it is possibly a fake.

You already have a thread about this and we said it was damaged and real.

The beveled edge suggests it was in a holder of some kind at some point and the surface is what one would expect from a strong acid wash. Whatever the case, it’s post-mint damage, not a Mint error.

Like @potty dollar 1878 said, you already posted this. Even if it was a "fake coin," it wouldn't make it worth more. It would be worth nothing :hilarious:

    Its $.25

There were approximately 820 MILLION quarters minted in 1967. This coin is badly damaged. Not rare, not an error of any kind, and certainly not fake. Worth 25 cents.

It’s real. It’s also highly damaged so best to spend it.
