1967 Roosevelt Dime error ???

I found this 1967 dime while metal detecting. Anyone know if this was an error?

This is not a Mint error. Much of the reverse has been machined off.

 

yah looks like its been grinded off, whizzed if you would.
definitly not from the mint... not possible

I'm in South Carolina and I found a dime exactly like this except the back has a high mirror shine what's the chances? Besides someone smoothing the and putting the in circulation
