1967 Penny DDR?

Is this doubled on the right side of the Memorial, especially by the FG initials?

It's MD (machine doubled) - I found one just like that today (although a little more pronounced) If I have time tonight I'll put the pic in!

Pretty much so - wonder if the same die?

 

Was yours also a 1967? I have a bunch more 1960's to go through. It'll be interesting to find another one.

 

I'll have to look again to see if there are any other die marks to compare.

That's just weird. I don't think it would be the same die, unless they pulled it out 20 years later!
