All I see is a 1967 Philly quarter with damage (S stamp) and heavy circulation wear. Put it in a 2 x 2 or spend it.

Junk, and it was pretty easy to see the punched S so in hand it should be even easier to tell it’s junk!!!!

Saw this quarter in another post.
    It's not a dropped letter, it's a counterstamp. It's worth a quarter.
IDK who told you to "get it graded". But you are going to spend over
$30 and it's going to come back, "Details, counterstamped."
The people here are just trying to save you the expense and embarrassment.

So let me get this straight... you know absolutely nothing about error coins but you're sure this is an error coin so you want to sell it on eBay and you're going to put some random collection of words in the listing... That about right?

and we wonder why people come to hear saying dear ghu do you see the garbage they're trying to sell on flea Bay...

Yep. I believe you summed it up pretty spot on.

Why, all of sudden, do we have numerous posts from different members about coins that have a dropped letter? This is the 3rd or 4th thread in as many days.

I see no doubling of any kind. I see a very slight misaligned die strike. I see what looks like a well circulated Quarter that is worn and seen better days.

Naturally, this 1967 quarter has no mintmark. None of them do.

As for the so called dropped letter, the top is wider than the bottom so it would be upside down. You can see a small amount of metal pushed away from the S so the S was stamped into the coin after it left the Mint. That makes it damaged

If I saw this coin listed on eBay I would report it as fraudulent.

Remember not too long ago. Post after post about Rockwell test marks? It came from a popular YouTube numismatist (not)..... I bet we have a similar thing going on here.

Well, I noticed certain things trend.
    Coins on foreign planchets.
    Aluminum cents.
Silver nickels on regular planchets (or the reverse).
    Clad quarters on silver planchets.
Everybody asking about getting a face value damaged coin graded.
    Etc.
As for the dropped letter, I recall seeing this exact same coin from a different poster not too long ago.
