1967 Kennedy Half MDD?

    Hi all. I do not actively collect USA coinage, but I was looking at this half I acquired. My experience with MDD (on Canadian Coinage) has taught me that the entire legend is usuall y affected. This half has doubling of only part of the legend. ED of United, all of States and half of America. Nothing on Half Dollar either. Is this common place? I have provided images of the O in Dollar, the O in OF and the D of United. Thanks in advance to those who care to respond. Regards Mike

    MDD does not have to occur aross the entire design but can occur in isolated locations.

    You can even have MDD on part of the date and not on the rest.
