1967 Dime Obv

Brought in the images of obv as close as possible. Well that I can anyway. In his hair and off to the rim, starting with a starburst in his hair. I’m assuming I guess, machine in the minting of the dime being the same image is coming across to the rim. Thanks!

It looks like your coin has received a hard metal moving scrape across the ear, hair and edge . PMD. JMO.

 

Definitely damage as it can be seen on the rim also.

Plain ole' damage with lots of wear and tear from circulation. Why did you believe it was something else? Serious question, as you have come a long way and should be able to easily see the difference between damage and possible errors now.
