I reacently picked up a collection of canadian coins and most of the silver content changes are easy to follw but, in 67 there were .800 and .500 coins struck in the 25 cents coin. In 68 there were .500 silver and nickle coins struck. is ther any way to determine what coins are what. web searches were just as confusing as my world coin books. help me if ther is any help to be had.
The 1967 coins should have a weight difference between the .800 and .500 fine coins. The 1968's are even easier to tell apart. The nickel composition coins are strongly attracted to a magnet.
