1966 quarter misprint? Has 1966 4.

    Anyone have any advice as to if this is something that might be a new find of some sort or no big deal?
    Looks like a was stamped at some point?
    Quarter is in bad shape. Very worn.

    What you are seeing is an example of pareidolia. Your brain interprets random marks on your coin as something familiar (in this case a '4').

    Well, I see a "4", and I'm old with bad eyes. However, the additional "4" is a random mark as explained by Hobo.
