    I was hoping for some feedback on this coin I found in my change. It is a 1966 Quarter weighing just short of 5.7 grams. I've attached some pics for your consideration. Thanks in advance for the help.

    It appears to just be damage.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I found a similar thread from several years back on these forums. http://www.cointalk.com/t39675/ but the difference is that mine is clad.

    I agree with Matt... quarters seem to be highly suseptible to damage. Check out this beauty I received in change:

    Damaged.

    Copper-Nickel Clad Quarters are supposed to weight 5.67 +- grams which is just short of 5.7 grams.
