Big horizontal line going thru the middle of the obverse... not sure what this is but I put it in acetone because it was so crusty and this is the best I could get it I think.

Clean the coin up and repost. I don’t think it a die crack. It is extremely straight to be a die crack. Look to be scratch to me...
Looks like a scratch but with the coin in that condition it wouldn't help it if was a die crack or a lamination error as it would still be worth one cent.
It's a scratch. You can see the recessed areas as it continues across the portrait. The raised area appears to be displaced metal that was pushed down during circulation.
Yep, I'm thinking PMD too. But, what bothers me is that this is our esteemed friend, McPark, presenting this coin......and he doesn't cry "wolf" all that often. Please tidy this coin up a bit more and resubmit some new pics, McPark.
