Do you think that this is an RPD on the "5" numeral? The left mid area, or the bottom corner of the vertical portion of the "5", looks to have split corners. Is that just MD?

I checked NGC's site for both the SMS and regular strikes and there are no known varieties listed. But, that split corner is very prominent.

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think there are RPD's for Lincoln Cents

Looking at the other three digits,
and the curve of the 5 itself, I'd
have to agree that it's mechanical
    or ejection doubling.....(same thing,
two diff. terms, three if you include
    'shelf doubling'

Wait is that "MT" (Machine Tripling) or MD twice?

Or MD that skipped the corner of the "5" and started again?

I see some doubling to the left of the "5" digit, just like on the other digits.

However, there appears to be another one to the right and south.
