I recently purchased a sms cameo nickel slabbed ms-69 cameo by PCI, is it worth my time and money to get it crossover graded and what is a good estimate of what I can sell it for?
I once purchased a PCI graded 1965 SMS MS68 Cameo 1c (actually pretty cheap). I broke it out and submitted it raw to PCGS and it came back MS66RD SMS (no cameo). I sold it and basically broke even after buying and submission costs. So I had the same hopes and dollar signs too, but sometimes you win and other times you get spanked. Show it to others and ask their opinion. I didn't as I was doing more "praying" than really studying the coin. A lesson learned.
