1965 Paris Proof set Whats it worth?? Hello, I recently purchased a few 1965 Paris proof sets and I was just wondering what they were worth? This set has asome toning but the other set I have is very nice. Any help is greatly appreciated.
These were super cheap a few years ago but my understanding is that they are bringing good money on eBay recently. There is an exploding demand in Europe for the pre-Euro coins and some are proving quite elusive. Keep in mind though that this date is the most common and these sets had a very good survival rate. A lot of the gains are being seen in mint state coins which generally had very poor survival rates. These will probably bring $20 up to about $45 now days I believe.
