I went to the bank and cashed in on $10.50 in silver halves. This one shows doubling on the date, "LIBERTY", and IGWT. Does anyone have any info on a 1965 DDO?
There is a 65 DDR in cheryypickers, but no DDO. I have a possible DDO 1965 as well. Most evident at the tops of the W and R as well as the bottom of S. LMK what you find out or come out tomorrow if you can and we can compare.
These little pictures are killing this part of the forums. I can't tell much from the pictures. Even if it is a doubled die there isn't enough picture to match it up to anything. Sorry, Bill
Thank you very much! I sent an e-mail to a moderator last night about the same thing. He didn't seem to think there was a problem. I told him my pics were not giving me the details I wanted. Before when I posted pics, the pics were larger and others were able to decipher the details I was trying to pass on. Now, my pics are smaller, and when others try to blow them up to observe them, it is the same pic, but up to the upper-left of the screen. It really sucks! I have posted several new pics since the change and I am not coming across like I would like to. PM your nearest moderator and see what we can do about it! I read other posts about this same thing and someone said something about waiting for the "MAN" to get back from vacation. Hope it is soon.:desk::desk::desk:
It says the pick up points are states and dollar. Then it goes on to say doubling is evident on all outer lettering, all stars, and slightly on EPU. It shows a pic of the D in dollar with a slight upward movement with the stars having one extra long point pointing towards the rim. There is another pic of the f in of and movement downward with longer point towards the rim. Not sure how this a DDR because the movement seems to be towards the center of the coin???
