1965 ddo dime

    Sorry, but it's mechanical doubling and not considered an error. It's only worth face value

    BTW: DDO is shorthand for Doubled Die Obverse. DDR is Doubled Die Reverse

    ty for your opinion, i did mean to type ddr . but have had a coin dealer consider it doubling..new to this but man is it a cool coin.. on som of the leaves the double also can be seen

    How do you find these? Do you search every single coin you get with a microscope.

    The coin dealer is wrong or misleading. It is doubling, but mechanical doubling, which is just damage, not considered a variety or error, nor a DDR. Jim

    The dealer couldn't give you a value? Since he thinks it's a DDR take whatever he offers. Because it's not!

    i found it , just cause it was a 1965 so decided to look at it...i carry a little loop with me always lol
