Found this going through rolls of " junk silver " . Looks like there are three layers to the mint mark . From the side you can see each layer . Is a triple mint mark possible ? Any help would be appreciated . 20191228_183913-1.jpg 20191228_183946-1.jpg 20191228_183953.jpg 2019-12-27 18.59.40.jpg

Looks more like a circulation hit. IMHO

looks like a nice hit to me too. You can see the bottom of the D being smooshed upward. Cool looking hit though!!

Thanks for the replies . Was just curious because from the side of the mint mark you can see three distinct layers rising up . Didn't know a hit could do that , but now I do . Thanks again.

There no telling what hit that coin it’s been in circulation for a good while now! Think about how many people could have had that coin in there pocket, cup holder, purse and a lot other places that we probably couldn’t think of!!
