well i counted the 64s in a $100 box from brinks sealed, there were (312 )1964nickels in the box that seames like a lot of one year. ididnt count the p and d marks i was to tired after counting the 64s. the box was from morgantown wv. i wonder if there is as many in other parts of the country. we also have quite a few wesatern series p & d WVRick :eat:

The mint needed all those nickels in 64 knowing that all the higher denomination silver coins would be hoarded once they went to clad coinage.
Yep, those 64s are like the 80/81P cents I seem to find alot of. At least they are copper and get thrown in a bucket. Oh know first on the no fly list now on the melting watch list, just kidding. Everyone have a great Holiday. Randy
