1964 Lincoln weight

    Hi, I ran across a 1964 penny that weighs 3.25 grams, is this a common weight? All I hear about is 3.1 grams. Any insight on this subject?

    Yes.. Lincoln Cents could have a + or - varience in weight.. Your Cent Planchet was probably just a bit thicker than normal.
    It seems to be within tolerance.
