I got this 1964 Lincoln PCGS MS65RD with what I believe is a coin that PCGS missed some errors on the coin when they graded it. There's a few errors on this coin I believe it has. The first on is there's like doubling or cups on the 9 & 4 in the date. Then there's what looks like doubling on reveres side in Monticello on the n and the second O. Then on the word ONE on the O. Last and what I think is the best error is you can see the shadowing imprint of lincoln on the reverse side. You can see in some of the pictures I have the raised and indentation of the portrait of lincoln on it.
Simple.. It is known as Indirect Image Transfer. Just a die deterioration issue. Also known as ghosting. Not really a major error. Doubling on coins comes in different forms. There is Die Deterioration doubling and Mechanical doubling. Both are worthless doubling and are not related to a true Double Die variety. You are seeing worthless doubling not recognized by the grading company. And if you send a coin for grading the third party grader will only grade it if that's the only fee you pay. There is a separate fee for mint errors and mint varieties. And that's the Lincoln Memorial Building on the reverse, not the Monticello. The slab is fine.. PCGS didn't miss a thing! IMHO
