Good evening gentlemen. I have stumbled upon this specimen with noticeable doubling on the reverse. Some letters are more obvious than others. I have taken a few snapshots of them, seen below. Opinions will be much appreciated.
Looks like machine doubling. The shelf like appearance is an indicator. Not an error, but a pretty nice example of machine doubling.
That's common, it's from the strike. These planchets don't always behave and sit still when they're hit that hard.
It doesn't look like classical type VI (6) doubling as I know it, no thickening with little separation. I also believe Machine doubling damage.
