Sorry the picture's humongous but anyway I found this a while back and noticed that the mintmark was probably struck through grease. What do you guys think?

I would not say it is wear since it is a rather low relief part of the coin. I'm thinking some grease or such got into the D on the die. Not really worth much, though !
