question curiosity for experts, Kennedy 1964 half dollar (no mint) also exists in Heavily Accented Hair variant or is it just an exclusive of proof models? Thank you very much

I'm sorry I am not an expert I do not understand the difference on the hair, the letter "I" seems to me normal, while the G of (FG) seems straight to me without the horizontal closure !!! I'll post a picture, maybe some of you better will know how to give me the correct answer. Thank you

G looks like the regular version (not accented hair).

The Accented Hair variety is a Proof coin. The picture you provided in Post #3 is not a proof coin. Is that correct enough for you?

You're making it complicated by trying to compare apples to oranges. SMS coins are not proof coins.

No! All SMS 1964 Kennedys have a small teardrop shaped die chip below the rightmost part of the crossbar in the 4.

I don't think a metal casting detail is repetitive and appears in all the sms pieces !!! booo

Is this issue of minting on the U of trust not a particular defect of the coinage? To the side of the U we do not see signs of wear or contact with external objects such as scratches to turn the U. What do you think ??

Do you wonder why people get tired of trying to help you? You are given valid information, and you do nothing but scoff at it. If I recall, this same information was given to you once before. If not, you need to learn how to use the CT search function and stop bothering everyone. While you're at it, save Bob's post for future reference.

No! It is not! It is nothing more than PMD.

Not All SMS Kennedy Proof half dollar have the teardrop. Read PCGS and you will find out. Then you will be able to give the right advice and info. Like a lot of you, you spout off info and don't even do the research. Please check stuff out before you answer. Always remember we ALL make mistakes, so try giving some grace. No one is perfect.
