i was looking through my silver quarters and found what appears to a a double stamp on the "IN GOD WE TRUST" motto. My pictures aren't very good so bear with me. try looking at the W and the IN. Is this right?

I was also wondering, if it is an error, what the value would be.

What I believe you have is a nice example of machine doubling , which doesn't carry much of a premium if any . But stick around for those with more experience in doubling as I could be wrong .

It looks like machine doubling, and is not worth any more than face value. If the underlying image appears flat and shelf-like, it is machine doubling.

    Sorry!

Same here, MD. You can really see it in the word IN. It looks as if were scooted to the NW. Keep searching there are plenty of good ones out there...
