Hoping for some feedback from the group in regards to this 1964 dime I came across while roll searching. While I don't take the best photos, I feel this picture is representative of what I'm questioning. Specifically, between the "S" and "T" in "STATES" up until the middle of the "M" in "AMERICA", the coin in hand is silver-white on the reverse, while the rest of the reverse is a dull-grey. The obverse of the coin is silver-white.

Is this PMD in your opinion, or is this a lamination error?

Thanking you all in advance for any feedback!

  3. I am not an expert in lamination errors, but from what I have seen of them this does not look like it. I would say PMD. You could try posting in the CT error forum and let an error expert chime in. Regardless, congratulations on finding silver while role searching. :smile TC

Good advice @TopcatCoin ... thanks. You know, I'm so focused on what this coin looks like, I forgot for a while that it is indeed silver. Thanks :)
