    1964 attached CA.jpg Hi again,

Another find at the coin club auction was this 1964 MS63 dime where the C&A of America are joined.

Anything soecial, or, a very minor thing?

    Thanks!

My 1964 — found in a CoinStar reject bin — has the identical placement of the C&A, though mine is not MS63.

Once again, this is mechanical doubling or machine doubling. It has created an effect where the two letters look joined, and possibly are but not a doubled die. Notice the dot next to it has the same effect.
