1964 Dime - Die Chip or new Doubled Die?

    Hi All,
    What is that thing btw the left and middle tips of the "W" in "WE"?
    It looks like either a die chip or an inital punch of the W resulting in a doubled die???
    There are no similar DDOs in the Cherry Pickers guide.
    This is a 1964 US dime.

    hi, & welcome.

    looks like a die chip, if a DDO, then there would be other remnants of the doubling on other letters.

    Note: Cherrypickers is good, but there are thousands of varieties that are not listed there.
