1964 D nickel mint mark stamped 5 times

    Can anyone tell me how many times one mint mark has been stamped in a coin..I believe this nickel has the mint mark stamped 5 times image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

    My Lord. The Mint should see a a Psychologist for that stuttering problem

    Yes it does look like 5 stamps but it couldn't have been a complete up and down motion of the minting press for all 5 stamps b/c the whole reverse of that nickel would show evidence somewhere and it doesn't.

    I cannot visualize mechanical doubling for so many evenly spaced MM's. Espoecially since the coin was only struck once.

    I could visualize 2 perhaps, but not 5.

    It wouls be nice to see close up of the rest of the coin.
