I was looking through some Kennedy halfs, that I had been through a dozen times, and found this one. I want to thank everyone on this forum. If not for the helpful folks here I would still be wondering what to look for, where to look, what books to study and what are some good sites to view. I looked at the CONECA site before making this post and found that there are a lot of '64Ds listed with many that have minor differences in each other. This '64 D has doubling on the G in GOD, doubling in WE TRUST, most of the letters in liberty, the 1 and 4 in the date, most of the hair on the back of the head and a die crack that can be seen on this photo. No question just thought I would say thanks.
2b1ask1...Your 64D DDO looks and sounds like it is from the master die. There are two MDO's, yours sounds like MDO-002. Larry Nienaber
