1964 D Jefferson with a slanted D ?

    P5220365.JPG Spotted this while going through a bunch of change. Looks like there's something under the D. Just typical die doubling?

    while I appreciate you posted the photo Full Image, it isn't cropped so just the coin shows (try the free Remove Background) so it's hard to tell, but I would say just PMD. The mint mark took a hit.
    If you can match it to a known RPM, let us know.

    You are talking about the mint mark, aren't you? From the picture, it seems to have taken a hit at the the bottom of the "D" making it appear slanted.

    A better photo would get better responses. Hard to tell from that blurry photo, sorry.

    Your image looks like is COULD be a RPM, but it doesnt look like the one known for the year, as yours looks slanted (hence your title) and not D-over-D, like the known variety:
