1964 d gold/yellow looking penny?

    I found a 1964 d gold or yellow looking penny with odd outter rim which I’ve never seen before. I also included a good condition 1985 penny and a 2009 for comparison. If anyone can shed some light on it I’d appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

    It was encapsulated. Maybe as a pendant. Plated as well which gives it the gold color.
