I can't seem to find anything online about it but I had 2 1964-d nickels that appear to doubled mint marks. Has anyone heard of this before?

There is a Rpm for that year. Got any pics? The Cherrypickers guide has info on this coin.

Sorry one of them is actually 1946-d that appears to have the same type of doubling as the 64, no pictures now can't get them to come out on my camera. Any idea of what they are worth in fine condition?

Rpm#5 has the D to the south of normal mint mark. If I recall correctly:kewl:

    Ok,

ThePicker guide says 1964 D Jefferson has RPM to the south as stated above, it goes for $125.00 in MS-63 shape; And there is also a RPM for 1946D as well. But for that one the mintmark is inverted and considered the second-rarest only to the 1942 D over horizontal D nickel. It can fetch up to one thousand dollars in MS-65 shape. Good luck! Also, show some pics next time:high5:

There are at least 4 different varities for that year on the Coneca site RPM there's one D/Dwest there's one rotated CW and D/D east the other one i'm not sure of they all have a population of 1 I think.

go to the coneca site and go to Master varities you well see it there.
