I feel like I'm peering through a (fuzzy) glass darkly. How does it look face to face?

 

I'll try and get some better close ups this afternoon when I get home. Worth a shot sending in?

 

It's usually wise to provide helpful information like the denomination when asking questions such a this the first time around. Also, take a look at the provided closeups: can you see sufficient detail? If not, chances are that neither will we.

That said, I simply cannot see anything well enough to say either way, but this is the variety the OP is referencing....

Which is actually an old fashioned trick, although one better suited to creative photography.

Not unless a mod will do it for you, no... at least that I'm aware of. Still, I wouldn't worry about it. Just remember for next time.
